Stuart Arnold
Captain Stuart Arnold,
captain of the FV Lihue II, has been fishing the waters off the Oregon coast since he was eight years old. Starting at a young
age he followed in his father’s footsteps in the fishing industry. His father, Richard Arnold, taught him many skills
while he was growing up. Now Stuart has been the successful captain of his father’s boat and has gained over twenty-five
years of experience. His knowledge goes far beyond the waters of the Northwest and Albacore Tuna. Stuart has fished the waters
of Alaska, Newport, and beyond. He has spent many season fishing for black cod and crab. Stuart has a reputation for selling
excellent quality fresh fish to his customers and continues to please many clients with each passing season.
Taryn Arnold deckhand Captain Stuart's daughter, Taryn, will
be joining us for the 2010 season. She is the first of the Arnold girls to join the crew on the Lihue II. She recently graduated
from Oregon State University with a Geography degree and has been working at various job such as working on a whale watching boat, rehabbing trails in Alaska, and working on a farm in Connecticut.
We are happy to have her this season!
