Didn't make it out!
I got to the boat and listened to the weather.......again and again...   Tough decision but I don't fish gale winds, never have and don't want to start my season that way..  W e are on standby, waiting for the weather to improve

Catching the tide @ noon
We are finally ready to get the tuna season started. We will be leaving the Warrenton Harbor today around noon and expect to be back on Friday the 30th, hopefully with a boat full of tuna! This will be my first trip with my daughter Taryn by my side and while it makes me nervous I'm looking forward to experiencing it with her.

Weather, weather, weather!!!!!
We are ready to go, new generator is bolted down, tuna pullers are working, did find a bad valve but got it into the shop yesterday.  The only thing holding us back now is weather!!!!  The forecast has gone from windy to gale warnings, not the way I wanted to start my season.  At this point, I have set a personal goal to make a delivery before July is over so we may have to keep a stiff upper lip and head out regardless of weather.  I am hopeful the forecast will get better by Friday or Saturday, we could still get a full trip and deliver by the 30th or 31st!!!!
