You would think it would have been an easy decision to call it a season, the weather was sloppy, no fish.....I had to really
think about it yesterday as I was watching my lines do nothing. At one point I got some seaweed tangled in my lines
and I thought it was "fish on!", got all excited and then quickly disappointed! Anyways, it has been a long,
grueling, not your normal kinda tuna season, but we survived it, no major mishaps, and we really did the best we could.
There are plenty of highlights, the big hogs we caught in the first few trips, some of the best sunsets so far, the killer
whale that stalked us, the stowaway bird that made it back to port, the photo shoot for the Mix Magazine. Getting to
meet so many great people this summer, some that came from as far away as Montana. Pulling in that first tuna with my
new bait pole, that was a lot of fun! I am happy to be done, looking forward to spending some quality time with my family
before crabbing starts. Before you know it, it will be June and we will start all over again with as much excitement
and enthusiasm as ever before. Top o'the day to you all, Captain Stu, over & out.........................
