We are tied up
Made it to the dock this morning about 6am.  It has been a long night, should have been in @3am but very foggy and lots of ship traffic.  We managed to get a whoppin 30 fish yesterday, same story, lots of jumper schools, not going for the jigs.  We will be selling off the boat today and then get ready tomorrow to head back out.  Really counting on live bait this time, if not, this season may very well be over.

Day Three
Well...the big "fish on" last night was a whopping 5!  Still got the adrenaline going, finished the day with 55 fish.  Today was better, got 125 fish.  Jumper schools for as far as the eye can see.  Average weight is 12-13 lbs.  We actually caught a 5 pounder....Mitchell thought that was hilarious....at least he is making memories!  We did better than some, it's tough out here, I'm not gonna lie.  We will start jammin for the Columbia River Bar tomorrow night, should hit the dock about 8am Saturday.  I heard the river has been pretty foggy in the morning, may slow us down.

Day two
50 fish for the day............must have seen a thousand jumpers, we would drive through them and get 1 or two...bait would be handy about now....dang, can't get a break.  The guys are bringing in the gear for the night.....wait, all lines on the port side just went tight..fish on!  Maybe there will be an evening bite.

On our way
We have fuel, ice and groceries on board for a short trip.  I spent about two hours in the Columbia River waiting for live bait but they did'nt have enough for me so we are on our way, only jig fishing this trip.  Kinda dissapointing but we have to make it work.  We have to be in this Saturday for a photo shoot for Mix Magazine, they are doing an article on canning tuna.  I don't have high expectations for this trip all tho, radio talk is encouraging.  I just want to get this trip over with and then will turn and burn  on Sunday for a full trip with live bait.  I am going to try and stretch this season out as long as I can.  I am going to drive all night to the "hot" spot...............ummm.......We will see what tomorrow brings
